A touching story enlightened the social media sites when this photo of a taxi driver was shared by a satisfied passenger named Rommel Lopez.
Mr. Eugenio Ventura, who is a 63 year old taxi driver who works have for his youngest son, a graduating student in college.
He might be the kindest taxi driver that you would ever know. He refused to keep the tip of P20.00 from Rommel saying that without the passengers, they would not have any source of income.
They finally meet again in an interview in DZMM where the taxi driver thanks the people for recognizing his good deeds. "Nagpasalamat po ako sa tao sa taas na kahit paano ay na-blessingan ang buhay ko."
He also has a tip for the passenger if the driver will not stop when they hail at them saying, "Kapag kayo hindi hinintuan, huwag kayong mag-alala, baka 'yung tao gutom na, nasi-CR na."
