A newly detected virus was said to be spreading out to the people through mosquito bites. This virus is called Zika Virus. The signs and symptoms of the virus includes having high fever, joint pain, conjunctivitis and rash.
This kind of illness that has a mild symptoms often lasts from days up to weeks. The severe cases that require hospitalization is very rare.
The first outbreak that occurred took place in Brazil based on the issued alert of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). The outbreak caused the Guillan-Barre syndrome and that the pregnant women delivered their babies with defects and negative pregnancy outcomes.
According to the reports, there are no vaccines available for the said virus. The authorities claim that the best prevention is to avoid the places that has an outbreak and to use stuff that avoids mosquito bites.
